Peter Pan review
When I went to watch Peter Pan, performed by the second years I thought it was performed really successfully and it had a good variety of skills such as singing acting and dancing which was presented by each member of the cast to a high standard and the time and effort that was put it was shown throughout the show.
Everyone performed very well and from the audiences point of view the characters that everyone played was made very clear and everyone kept their characters throughout even when they wasn't speaking at that particular moment. In particular I thought Tinkerbell was really good and I thought she had a harder character to play as she had no words but had to get across her feelings when on stage through mumbling and through body language. I also thought that Mr Smee was outstandingly good his character was really funny and committed to role.
However to improve the performance the only thing I would say is to make the transitions a lot smoother and also control the smoke machine because all the smoke just went in one direction and it was a bit full on because you couldn't really see or breath when your sitting smack bang in it, also the lighting or seats need to be re arranged because in some seats the light is so bright you couldn't really see the performance.
role model
My role model is Sergei Polunin who is a Ukrainian ballet dancer, He trained with the royal ballet. from the ages of 4-8 he trained at a gymnastics company academy. He joined the royal ballet at the age of 13 in 2003, he became a first soloist at the royal ballet in 2009, in 2010 he became the royal ballets youngest ever principle. after two successful years he resigned from the royal ballet as he said he was no longer happy and quotes " the artist in me was dying"
