knees out over feet , when doing a full plies don't sit at the bottom

battement tendu- stretch beat 
maintain turnout, maintain alignment, direct energy down to supporting leg

battement glissee- glide 
maintain turnout

rond de jambe a terre - rounding of the leg on the floor 
maintain turnout especially when passing through first, lock both knees at all times

battement frappee- to strike 
use quads, strike the floor, know when to flex the foot and to stretch it

grand battement-big beat  
lock both knees, don't let supporting leg bend. keep up straight , don't collapse upper body in order to try and get your leg higher.
